TP Ledger terms of use
Last updated 14 October 2026
About TP Ledger. TP Ledger is bookkeeping and VAT filing software used by Tax Plus Ltd (company number 10664976, 11 Bridge Street, Ramsbottom, BL0 9AB). Only Tax Plus staff use it, to provide services to our clients. It is not sold or made available to anyone else.
How these terms fit. These terms sit alongside your letter of engagement. If the two differ, your letter of engagement applies.
Filing your VAT returns. We file a VAT return only after you have approved it. By approving it, you confirm the information is true and complete. We file as your agent, under the authorisation you have given us with HMRC.
What you do. Give us complete and accurate records in good time. Tell us promptly about changes, such as your VAT scheme or registration. Keep your own business records for at least 6 years, as HMRC requires.
What we do. Prepare your returns from the records you give us, file them through HMRC’s Making Tax Digital service, and keep HMRC’s receipt for each return. We will send you a copy of any receipt on request.
If a service is unavailable. TP Ledger relies on HMRC’s systems, Microsoft 365 and Anthropic’s Claude service. If any of them is unavailable near a deadline, we will use another way to file on time wherever we can.
Your data. How we collect, store and protect your information is set out in our privacy policy. You can ask for a copy of your TP Ledger records at any time.
Security concerns. To report a security risk or incident involving TP Ledger, email info@taxplus-ramsbottom.co.uk or call 01706 551819.
Changes. We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page.
